Unique 1920s faience lidded bowl, Sweden. Beautiful hand painted decor. Most likely designed and produced by Gabriel Burmeister. This unique lidded bowl carries a signature, GRAFIA. Grafia is the name of the art publishing company started by Gabriel Burmeister in 1915. The bowl is it self a clash between modern shape and decor in a traditional, 18th century, style.
Whitish glaze with blue and sepia colored decor.
